Patient Journey Nephrology
Client situation
Our client, a dialysis provider, planned to develop new communication services for its patients. To better understand the touchpoints between the patients and their company, co.patient was asked to develop a Patient Journey for chronic kidney failure, which usually leads to dialysis.
Our solution
Through discussions with patients and physicians as well as research of technical literature, we analysed the paths of patients with chronic kidney failure through the healthcare system in detail, and presented these paths graphically. We integrated important patient motives and medical needs. Together with our client, doctors and patients, we explored the Patient Journey in a workshop.

Our Patient Journey made it possible to see at a glance where in the course of the illness there are points of contact between the patients and the services offered by our client. This made it possible to develop new starting points for the creation of patient media.
